We want your visit to South Peel to be the best veterinary experience you have ever had. We are all pet owners and animal lovers here and we work hard to create a warm, inviting and comfortable environment for both you and your pet.
When you arrive for your appointment you will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists who will check you in and ask you about your pet’s medical history, current issues and the reason for your visit. This information is then given to the doctor.
One of our doctors will then call you into the exam room and review the information that you provided to our receptionist. The veterinarian will discuss your concerns and likely ask you more questions. He or she will examine your pet and possibly recommend diagnostic tests. Please feel free to ask the doctor any questions you might have. It is important to us that you understand what will be done for your pet and why it is being done.
If your pet needs testing or some type of treatment he or she will go to the treatment room or x-ray room, if x-rays are required. When these are finished your pet will return to the exam room with the doctor. The doctor will discuss next steps with you and you will have another opportunity to ask the doctor any more questions you might have.
At the end of the visit you will check out with our receptionist who will handle the billing, schedule any follow-ups, give you any medications that have been prescribed and answer any additional questions you might have.
